we tried countless electric sandwich makers that preached to be non stick, easy to wash blah blah.... none worked. We saw these a long time ago on a high street 99p kind of store, we used them for over a year, then I found them here, bought and fell in love with them all over again. We just bought another couple now because ours were used over and over again and they started to open in the side, but that after over a tyear of almost every day use. They are not difficult to clean but you need to do it soon, or it will start staining, which can mean bacteria, we love them with soapy water with a silicone sponge and let it air dry. My brother was visiting, fell in love with them and we bought a pack of six for him to take home (on the other side of the world) I couldn't be happier with these, perfect toastie sandwiches in the toaster, amazing!
