The bags are 9.25 inches tall, 6.9 inches wide, and 3.15 inches deep. They are well made and sturdy, with the bottom of the bag reinforced on the inside and the outside. The handles are white ribbon with plastic shoelace-style caps at each end. Each bag is doubled for extra strength where the handles attach. Each design is in gold on a white background. One design is horizontal rectangles with multiple vertical lines running through each rectangle. One design is little solid gold stars sprinkled all over the bag. One design is gold dots at the bottom of the bag, splashing up to about the middle of the bag. One design is lots of different gold starbursts and solid gold dots all over the bag. Each bag has gold foil on one side of the bag, and just gold colored ink on the other side. The gold foil reflects the light and looks very festive. This is an extremely nice set of all occasion bags that would be good for both formal and informal gift giving occasions. They're small, sturdy, durable, and thick. The little strap broke and kept going through the hole so I wasn't able to hold them. I was able to make a knot and didn't have any other issues. I can fit one piece of clothing in these, or small boxes like jewelry/perfume. And they're reusable!These gift bags are "Christmas-holiday festive." There are 12 bags in 4 designs with 3 of each design. These are very sturdy, made of thick paper and a reinforced bottom. However, the handles are their biggest problem. It is important to make sure the clip for the handles are set correctly inside the bag or the handle will just fall out.Each bag fits the equivalent of one 24-ounce bag of pistachios. very sturdy bags and can fit four hand towels or the equivalent.In summary, these bags are lovely and are definitely sturdy bags. Unfortunately, the handles are their weakest point due to the fact that the anchor can slip out of its wide hole if one is not careful. Also, the ribbon handle needs to be more substantial to match the high quality of the bag. I would have expected a rope handle. The handles are chintzy compared to the rest of the item. The current price of $21.15 ($22.99 minus 8%) comes to $1.76 per bag which is pricey but typical of the price of bags like these.Loved these for Xmas and still had leftovers for birthday gifts.
